Nugget Point
Nugget Point has a lighthouse and locals will say it is a must to visit in Catlins area. However, we beg to differ. There isn't much to see here. The rocks/nuggets appearing in the sea just off the lighthouse and the cliff aren't that much to boast about.
It could be a wrong timing, or whatsoever. But for us, it is a big no-no to recommend this place to anyone. Perhaps if you got time, or you like to visit lighthouse, this might be the ideal place for you.
