Some countries are really doing their best at aiming to promote child birth. Unlike Singapore which is nowhere to boast about - 12 weeks of paid leaves for the mother alone, with an unknown fear that they might get dismissed when they got back to work.
Norway, which is ranked top, gives 2 weeks of paid leave to both parents when the child birth, and option of 46 weeks of full paid leave or 56 weeks of 80% paid leave.
No wonder Singapore government can use low birth rate as an excuse to bring in more foreign talent. One excuse leading to another :)
