Moeraki Boulders (Twilight view)

These boulders are strangely attractive to me, for some reasons that I myself do not know. They are, however, also considered one of the must see stuff in New Zealand.

They are really a weird bunch of boulders, for their surface is not smooth, but rather rough yet slippery. If you scratch across the boulders with your finger nails, you are sure to scrape some boulder debris out. They have a shell life too, that explains how they cracked, forming a turtle shell look alike view.

Be sure to look out for these boulders if you are in the east coast - it is definitely something not to be missed.
