TSS Earnslaw Cruise Experience

We took the vintage Steamship TSS Earnslaw cruise from Queenstown Wharf on Lake Wakatipu. It was a totally different experience from all the cruises I had taken in the past, you can freely walk almost everywhere in the ship, from the deck to the engine room!

The highlight of the trip was not only watching how coal was thrown inside the furnace to generate the steam, but rather the farm tour when the ship docked. You will have a close up experience feeding the red deer, the alpacas (they are even more shy than sheep), the hairy cows and the sheep. You will also see real time sheep dog chasing sheep action and sheep sheering, if you haven't seen that in Australia or other parts of Kiwiland!

For $75 per pax, I would highly recommend this activity to anyone that has some time to spare in Queenstown! Just be very careful when feeding the animals because I swear the hairy bulls nearly but my fingers off me!
