13th June @ Salmon Farm

We came to a salmon farm which is on the way back to Twizel. The name is High Country Salmon Farm and I especially appreciate the marketing of this farm. It puts "Free fish feeding" outside the shop, big enough to attract any tourist driving by, since it's not far from the state highway. However, there is a donation box placed just beside the feed :)

We fed the salmons fully before we decided to buy one. We finally bought a non smoked, and the middle bone was extracted, leaving 2 big flap of salmon meat uncut. Seriously that's the starting of my nightmare.

She left the shop happily, since salmon is her favorite. But poor me have to cut and skin the salmon. I have, thought, started to appreciate the people who cut the salmon for sashimi in Japanese restaurant.

We also went to the supermarket to buy groceries and stuff before making our way back to Lake Ruataniwha holiday park.

We had a lovely dinner and chilling out session with Darren, Marcus and Cas.
