We are in white horse hill campsite now, just beside the foot of mount cook. We passed the powered site Glentanner Holiday park, which won a 4 star award for holiday parks, but on a Sunday, there wasn't even a single caravan or motor home checked in, and there wasn't a single manager at 4plus. It sounded so terrible, but yes, it's so terrible.
At white horse, at least there are about 4 other campervans. Non powered, it's a freezing night tonight.
Good night everyone, we should be able to emerge winner of the cold tomorrow morning. With all the strong gales blowing now and scaring us, it's no wonder we are turning in early.
