11th July @ Oamaru night scenic view

Oamaru, a town famous for its victorian style building, aka white stones. It is a bustling town, definitely better than Christchurch now. It is a famous tourist definitely, as we spotted many Asian on the streets, mostly going for the yellow eye penguins. If I were to recommend towns to go, Oamaru is definitely one of my top picks. It's not complicated, slightly touristy, but have a character of its own. Any city people will definitely feel at home here. It is also famous for the weird looking English style bicycle, the one with the bigger front wheel and small back wheel.

We had our dinner after such a long journey of photos and enjoyment. We settled for KFC, which is something we miss so much too. Top recommendation for budget yet want some fast food traveller - they have a budget 20dollars meal which involved half a grilled chicken, 4 piece original recipe chicken and 2 big sides. We concluded that can last about 4 meals or more and its enjoyable too!

After our savory dinner, we took a walk enjoyed the night of victorian buildings and finally checked in to the Top 10 holiday park for the first time. It was a whopping 40 bucks for powered sites, we couldn't understand why, as it seems to be located so far away and isolated from the city center. Anyway, just a brief idea, Top 10 is the most atas holiday park and they should be a franchise in which withhold the highest standards for their facilities. The good - even the toilets are usually heated thus you get the nice feeling bathing in winter. You are get music in the toilet. The bad? Basically nothing much since you pay to enjoy. Maybe you will get slightly lesser of warmth feeling from the reception. :)

*p/s: this is the first time I see bike parking. No joke. Either I had been missing it, or it's uncommon!
