A wonderful view of the freshwater lake, in which is one of the shallowest in South Island I believe. Best time to be here? Sunset timing in summer - you can even swim in the lake! Also, the myriad of colors across the lake is definitely something not to be missed. As for now? Swim at your own risk, or thick skin I should say.
