We arrived in Peter and Sally-Ann's house after a while. Pauline and Erin was telling me that the family built an igloo few days ago with the amass of snow and what remains now is a lump of ice. You can see the below photo to imagine the igloo.
It is a very lovely home in which surrounded by nature. We simply love it. When we entere the house, we were greeted by Jody, the daughter of Sally-Ann whom is of our age. She, too, is an avid traveller. We conversed together on travel history and experiences.
Imagine your kitchen faces the Arthurs' Pass. Imagine you can see the Alps from far away. Imagine you are the only house hold around here. Imagine. That's pretty much nature loving.
Enjoy the pictures below as we enjoyed our brief stay in the warm and cosy house amongst the nature! And ya, in case you are wondering, that's a real elephant leg, that was preserved after being shot by Peter back in South Africa, in view of some terminal sickness the elephant had at that time.
Thank you for the hospitality Pauline, Michael, Peter, Sally-Ann, and Jody if you are reading this!
