16th July @ night journey to Otago Peninsula

Never drive to Otago Peninsula after dark:

1) you only get to see dark water using the coastal road
2) it's pitch dark and fairly dangerous using the scenic mountain road
3) there is only one camping ground in Otago Peninsula and you might miss it
